Alisa Malin (7.8.1996) is a visual artist based in Finland, Tampere.
She specializes in painting, comics, and mixed media sculptures.
Preciousness of life is present in all of Malin’s work. She uses art to process complicated feelings, study her environment, and preserve memories. Therefore nature, relationships, intimacy and everyday surroundings are common themes in her works, but battles with mental health, and anxiety over the global landscape are also ever present.
Malin wants to maintain traditional skills in this digital age and prefers to work with mediums such as oil paint, pencils, and clay. The use of recycled and organic materials in a form of mixed media is also characteristic for her work.
