Alisa Malin (7.8.1996) is a visual artist based in Finland, Tampere.

She specializes in painting, comics, and mixed media sculptures.

Preciousness of life is present in all of Malin’s work. She uses art to process complicated feelings, study her environment, and preserve memories. Therefore nature, feelings, relationships, intimacy and everyday surroundings are common themes in her works.

Malin prefers traditional mediums. She believes imperfections, fingerprints, and unpredictable outcomes make art very human. With traditional practices she wants to create personal art to be experienced in person.  

Despite her traditional views, Malin actively seeks innovative and sustainable materials and working methods, utilizing recycled and organic materials.
